    Upcoming Class Schedule

    We are still taking names for the following: EPRI II (instrumentation), EVITP (Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program), EVITP II, MSHA, and Photovoltaic.  As soon as we have enough people interested, we will get a class on the schedule.

    Please contact the union hall at (920) 432-0158, if you wish to sign up for any of the classes listed below:

    Code of Excellence Class

    This class is designed to implement professionalism and best practices on each and every IBEW jobsite. It also insures that our jobs meet the highest standards, including the safest possible workplace and work methods, the ultimate quality and quantity of work, and unsurpassed work skills. The instructors will be Daniel Adams, Executive Board & Jesse Jacques, President. This class is open to all members an there is no charge. We are offering the Code of Excellence class on the following date:.

    Monday, October 6th, 5:00-9:30 p.m.

    First Aid/CPR/AED

    It is approved for 8 CEU credits, limited to 24 students, and has a class fee of $10.00. Class is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (noon) and will be held on: Saturday, October 11th.

    NFPA 70E

    The NFPA 70E Standard states that to work on live (50V AC/DC and above) you must be trained in NFPA 70E and First Aid/CPR/AED annually. The NFPA 70E, 2012 Edition , Article 110.2 Training Requirements, (C) Emergency Procedures, "Employees exposed to shock hazards and those employees responsible for taking action in case of emergency shall be trained in methods of release of victims from contact with exposed energized electrical conductors or circuit parts. Employees shall be regularly instructed in methods of first aid and emergency procedures, such as approved methods of resuscitation, if the duties warrant such training. Training of employees in approved methods of resuscitation, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automatic external defibrillator (AED) use, shall be certified by the employer annually." This class is approved for 8 CEU credits, is limited to 15 people, and has a class fee of $10.00. It is taught over the course of three
    nights, from 5:00-9:00 p.m., and will be held on:

    Tuesday, October 21st, Wednesday, October 22nd, & Thursday, October 23rd

    OSHA 10

    One of the requirements in the CW curriculum. It is approved for 10 CEU credits, limited to 25 students, and has a class fee of $10.00. It is taught over the course of three nights, from 5:00-9:00 p.m., and will be held on:

    Tuesday, October 7th, Wednesday, October 8th, & Thursday, October 9th

    EPRI Level I Instrumentation

    The CEU's for 40 hours has been applied for. Succesful completion of the class will qualify you to take the EPRI I exam to become EPRI certified. Class size is lomited to 20 people. Class fee & cost of books is undetermined. It is taught over the course of 10 weeks, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., and will be held on Modays, starting October 13th and completing on December 22.

    PRO UNION Consulting, Becoming a successful contractor

    Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 11,12 and 13, 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

    PRO UNION Consulting will be putting on a class for IBEW members interested in becoming profitable union electrical and/or renewable energy contractors through a comprehensive business course. This class will be held in Milwaukee hosted by Local 494. Gain the electrical construction estimating skills and detailed business plan needed for those who aspire to own their own contracting business.
